Current research focus

I study how accounting information, standards, and practices shape, and are shaped by strategic business decisions and government interventions, particularly where firms operate under institutional, regulatory, and political frictions.

My central interest is accounting as infrastructure for economic coordination: simultaneously a tool for internal decision-making and a mechanism of accountability in firm–government relations.
